See allows you explore Los Angeles at multiple scales:
- County
- Watershed
- Neighborhood
When you begin your first workshop, you will see a map of LA County organized by watershed. This allows you to orient participants to the broader hydrological context of the area of focus for your workshop. All parts of the county are interconnected through the flows of water above and below ground.
When you click on a watershed, the camera will zoom in to focus on that area, with the watershed you selected remaining outlined. At this point, you can continue to navigate using the following controls at the bottom of your screen, as well as your mouse:
- Pan (click and drag): Moves the camera horizontally or vertically
- Zoom (double click or scroll): Zooms the camera in or out
- Rotate (click left and right mouse buttons and drag): Rotates the camera
- Home: Returns the camera to its original position
As you zoom into particular neighborhoods, additional landmarks will be labeled on the map, including:
- Cities
- Streams
- Major streets
- Parks
- Schools
